My biggest passion in life is my love of horses.

My love of horses started when I was 5 years old and rode a pony for the first time.  I spent my childhood horseless, but I read every book that I could find about horses, watched every horse movie, decorated my bedroom wall-to-wall with horse posters, and owned a huge collection of Breyer horses.  I took art lessons, and the subject of many of my drawing and paintings were horses.  On vacations, I would look out the window of the car and get so excited whenever we passed horses.  The first thing I would do when we got to our hotel was find the phone book and look for a place to ride horses.  My dad was really good about that, and he always allowed us to go horseback riding.  I finally got my first horse when I was almost sixteen…forget a car…I wanted a horse!

My passion for horses is so strong that I could, and often do spend hours and hours every day learning more and more about these majestic animals.

To this day I still have piles of books and DVDs that cover most horse related subjects, and I never grow tired of learning more. I could talk for hours about horses and because of that my husband encouraged me to start this site.
